| Montecristi, Dominican Republic, March 2025 | Good morning (12:01 a.m., as I write this), all. It's been a long day! Thankfully, though, it's not been a long winter. Moving to Georgia has provided my freeze-baby soul with a great boon: short winters and longer springs and falls. In Iowa and Connecticut, where I lived for longer periods of time, the outside world basically became unbearable for me for about five months of the year. Here in Georgia, however, winter was only about three months, and it wasn't really that bad. We had snow once and freezing rain twice. (I hear the summers are atrocious, though.) Life continues here, as my partner and I slowly integrate into the community. My job goes very well, and I'm beginning to make some friendly connections. Daffodils and forsythia and plum bloom apace. Apparently I only post when I publish an article; in this instance, it is the long-awaited "Lost Gorondia Rediscovered." It was a long gestation period, but I think it paid off. Enjoy! - Talbot |

The universe of The Legend of Zelda is replete with multifarious architectural oddities, beautiful and resonating structures, and ineffably-mysterious temples hidden in the remote corners of the world. It is my hope to explore said places, shedding light upon some of their salient features, and fulfilling the goals laid out by the introduction, the main goal of which is to help people understand and appreciate the unspoken, yet deeply-felt, allure of these locations and structures.
