Majora's Mask
This page holds every article from this site written about The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask (2000), and the enchanting 3DS remake released in 2015.

Few games within the Zelda series inspire as much theorization, personal artwork, confusion, or emotional appreciation as does Majora's Mask. Well-known for its strangeness, the parallel land of Termina provides a sobering backdrop for the events of this story and its tragic, though ultimately uplifting, narrative. To many, Majora's Mask is most notable for its memorable characters, paradoxical familiarity, and innovative game mechanics. This game also has the power of transcendence, in that its themes come to encompass and explore nearly every emotion along the human continuum of experience, making it one of the most powerful Zelda games in the franchise, and perhaps in the entire brief history of video games.
